Peddle Thorp were commissioned to develop a new workplace methodology for BP on their refinery site and relocate staff, who were currently housed in prefabricated building set around the site, into temporary accommodation across two adjacent buildsings in Eagle Farm. The temporary accommodation was designed as a prototype for the future new purpose built Bulwer Office Building that was yet to be designed. Through many user group and stakeholder meetings we were able to develop the methodology of the BP workspace that centered around collaboration, openess and strong corporate branding, something that the refinery staff had not been before experienced. In order to manage the major change in how the company operated it was imperative that all staff were part of the process and kept upto date with the projects progress.
