Integrated Management System
Peddle Thorp has an Integrated Management System in place which has been Third Party Certified as meeting the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000.
Peddle Thorp's Commitments to Integrated Management are emphasised by the firm's status as a AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 Certified Company. Peddle Thorp undertook the commitment to formalise the comprehensive management principles on which the firm has built an unparalleled reputation for quality architecture, whilst protecting the interests of our clients by managing projects to meet all budgetary and programming restraints. The Peddle Thorp project team is fully aware of the high level of coordination and communication required to ensure any project progresses smoothly.
Peddle Thorp, has achieved Third Party Certification of its Integrated Management System which incorporates the comprehensive processes of design, design development documentation and project administration (in all forms).
The communication philosophy includes detailed review processes for a thorough assessment of:
> appropriateness of design
> value for money
> complete coordination of all design disciplines
> fulfillment of the brief in accordance with client expectations
> correction of misunderstandings that may be revealed in the functional brief
> attainment of programme
The internal review processes are automatically undertaken as part of Peddle Thorp's Integrated Management System which is established for each project, however, the team whole heartedly supports the philosophy of programmed independent Value Management exercises. From such exercises, the deliverables of the project can be undertaken and continuously reviewed against budget requirements and life cycle performance criteria. The project team, will be very conscious of the life cycle cost, energy management and ecologically sustainable development criteria which influence design of buildings and services. The combination of the value management and project quality plan underpins the maintenance of quality throughout each phase of our commission.
