The State Government Insurance office commissioned Peddle Thorp to develop one of Brisbane's early high rise buildings. Encompassing 23,700 square metres of floor area over 19 lettable levels, the building catered for 67 cars in podium parking.

Peddle Thorp were commissioned by Suncorp to refurbish the ground floor, entry and canopy, facade and plant areas. Faced with losing tenants, Suncorp's brief was to refurbish the building to meet ‘new' standards expected by tenants and hence maintain market attraction. The lifts and air conditioning were also upgraded as part of the refurbishment process. A particular restraint was to remain within the existing facade structure and to maintain minimal interruptions to existing tenants.
