The Caloundra City Council Administration Building, completed in 1995, is a three storey office building located on the corner of Nutley Street and Omrah Avenue Caloundra. The administration building provides the Caloundra City Council with a much needed and upgraded administration centre for its associated staff and community.

The nett floor area for the building is 4690m² with a gross floor area of 6590m².

The building’s striking cream masonry elements and green tinted glass create a striking and solid building in the streetscape of this coastal city. The giant butterfly roof oversails the building and is supported at the extended eaves by feature struts. Sunshading provides glare and heat reduction and is conceived as a fine grille of horizontal lines.

The top floor of the building houses the new Council Chambers which is emphasised by the curved glass facade to reflect its special use.
