	images	The new Holy Spirit Northside Private Hospital is co-located with the Prince Charles Hospital in the Brisbane suburb of Chermside. The 150 bed hospital is designed with a majority of single bed patient accommodation. Facilities provided include eight technically advanced operating theatres, a day procedures and endoscopy clinic and an accident and emergency department servicing the northern region of Brisbane. An integral Medical Centre houses specialist medical suites servicing the public and private hospitals. Planned over 3 levels, the building is designed around landscaped tropical courtyards that incorporates water features to provide a tranquil setting for recuperation and relaxation. The new landscaping is a transition from the surrounding native vegetation.
