Corporate sophistication has been brought to the pinnacle of the Queensland University of Technology administration. Modern design, featuring a sense of openness, has been incorporated into the refurbishment of the original 1930's building.

The original coffered ceilings have been restored and 'floating' bulkheads through the space hide uplighting which creates a soft bounce light off the ceiling. The space was visually enlarged with deletion of ceilings and solid walls. The construction of glass fronted offices brings the outside environment into the centre of the space and allowed the office environment to merge.

Special designed integral cabinetwork and furniture use native Australian timbers contrasted with rich solid colours. The subdued colours and lighting offers a sense of relaxation and peacefulness whilst maintaining the dignity of the Executive offices.
