		The philosophy of the proposed Ungasan Resort has been conceived as a collection of traditional distinctive "villages" which reflects the essence and culture of the island of Bali. The layout and design reflects the quality and refinement and accommodation suitable for a major international standard resort. The central facilities buildings is located in such a position to command eminence upon arrival and to avail itself of the magnificent views to the sea. A variety of ancillary facilities have been provided which incorporate passive and active recreation areas. To a large extent, the placing of all of the components has been determined by the particular topography of the site. The design intention is to minimise disruption to the special characteristic of the mountainous site and preserve the unique qualities of the environment.
