The practice is highly praised for providing a high quality of service and excellence in design with a vibrant and talented design team offering specialist expertise.

Peddle Thorp Far North, Cairns office is currently seeking to appoint a motivated Project Architect with commercial project experience to be part of our team who are currently working on a variety of Commercial, Healthcare and Civic building projects.

We are seeking passionate architects who would like to achieve excellence in their chosen career. The role of Project Architect will require you to design with flair whilst working to tight deadlines. You need to be capable of producing accurate construction documentation to a high standard. You must be able to work as part of a team as well as to take on all aspects of a project independently. A high construction knowledge is paramount with a keen eye for detail.

Peddle Thorp is a leader in the implementation of BIM workflow to promote true collaboration between disciplines and consultants. It is therefore expected that you are proficient in Revit. An understanding of the Adobe Design Suite is also desirable.

It is also important that you are familiar with current local building codes and Australian Standards (including current ODA legislation).

Being great at networking you will be able to build and maintain excellent client relationships.
