Davin has been with the practice since 2011. He has been responsible for delivering major health facilities throughout Queensland including projects in Townsville, St Vincent’s Brisbane and currently the Thursday Island Hospital redevelopment. He has worked alongside David Porgand throughout this time and has established his credentials as a highly capable and responsive health architect. Davin will take up the leadership role for the health team and deliver the practice’s commitment to responsive and functional health facilities.
Paul Whittle has led Peddle Thorp’s Far North Queensland operations for over 23 years. Paul’s promotion to Senior Executive Regional Queensland acknowledges Paul’s success in growing Peddle Thorp’s presence in key markets in Queensland’s Far North including Cairns, Townsville, remote areas, and Torres Straight islands. Paul has been responsible for multiple education and civic building projects across Northern Queensland and has grown the Cairns office team’s scale, capabilities and service offering during this time.
David Porgand recently announced his retirement from the practice after 39 years at Peddle Thorp. David grew the health team and a successful project portfolio with an expansive agenda to meet our clients’ needs across the state. With Health projects across all parts of Queensland, he also undertook health master planning projects in South-East Asia. David has guided and mentored many creative architects and designers under his leadership setting up the Peddle Thorp team for success for years to come.
