Located on the Cairns Esplanade, the three sets of information nodes are designed to impart to tourists and locals a selection of stories illustrating the regional essence of Cairns, and are an engaging sequence of information pavilions paired in three groups representing cultural, historic and environmental themes.

Beautifully detailed, each with its tightly compressed structure, and their expressive graphic glass collars and touch screens, create a lively and informative sequence along the Boardwalk.

The design of the information nodes as walk through structures maximises the expansive views to Trinity Inlet. The Canopies provide an intimate shelter giving protection from the tropical sun and monsoon down pours.
