Peddle Thorp have undertaken multiple school and university projects at varying scales across Queensland, as well as community buildings such as public libraries and training centres. Our practice has a reputation for creating community infrastructure that is responsive to challenging sites and project briefs. Our signature projects include the highly successful State Library of Queensland, Caboolture Hub, Toowoomba City Library and various projects for the Queensland University of Technology, University of Queensland, James Cook University and the University of Papua New Guinea.

Our projects have involved new education models which support and encourage users to embrace change and new ways of occupying and using the built environment. Our role as design consultants is to translate the framework of client and user needs and aspirations through to a functional, creative, positive form.

PROJECTS

"Not surprisingly the students are already making good use of the space. Thank you for giving us such a great design.  It is terrific."

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia, their Elders and ancestors. We recognise the rich heritage and profound connection to Country of First People, including their influence on land, waters, sky and community as skilled land shapers and place makers, which has endured for millennia.
