PROJECT ARCHITECT

Lesley-Claire is one of our Project Architects based in the Townsville office. Joining Peddle Thorp in early 2024, Lesley-Claire brings with her over 7 years of experience in regional and remote architecture of Australia’s top end.

With expertise in a diverse range of project scales, typologies and locations, Lesley-Claire’s adaptability and keen interest in project delivery has provided a seamless transition as a project architect in the Far North’s Civic team.

Most recently, Lesley-Claire has been critical to the ongoing delivery of the Cairns Courthouse Speciality DFV Refurbishment. Previously, her roles included the large-scale regional community developments of the new North Beaches Community Hub Stages 1A and 1B, along side the Kirwan Replacement Police Facility Stage 1 and subsequent master planning.

With education and civic works foundational to her practice, Lesley-Claire’s client focused approach coupled with her thorough understanding documentation and the built environment provides a framework of knowledge for the delivery of successful projects.

Outside of the office, Lesley-Claire’s eye for design spills over into an ongoing passion as an editorial photographer, with some of her images recently featuring in British Vogue online.
