The Chloe Café Dining Area refurbishment was an extension of the major refurbishment works undertaken by Mater Private Hospital. The brief stipulated a 'Hotel-like' ambience to the public areas. The new dining area offered different sitting arrangements with perimeter banquet seating, standard dining table settings and lounge chair settings.

Privacy for the diners was maintained by feature screens on sides of the booth seating. Materials used included timber, wallpaper and custom designed carpet. The Florence Broadhurst designed wallpaper hangs over the florist's point of sale joinery which acts as an end vista of the hospital's main entry corridor.
