The Gladstone Hospital ED project delivered a new ED and medical imaging department for the hospital, replacing and expanding these services on the hospital site. As well as a new main entry for the hospital, consolidating the public access points for the hospital.

The new ED caters for both adult and paediatric patients, with a trauma zone, acute patient zone, short stay zone, fast track, rapid assessment and dedicated paediatric zone. The project also included refurbishment works to the existing ED, delivering an expanded specialist outpatient service, including consult rooms, treatment areas and staff amenities.
