When you think of a gelato shop you don’t naturally pair it with a Chemist. Which is why this NitoLato fit-out was such a fun project to work on. This interesting concept needed a space to be the canvas for the product so it could shine through and tell the story which blurs lines between food and science.

With the use of painted black walls and ceilings we were able to create that space which places emphasis on the nitrogen frozen cloud instead of its surrounds. The use of industrial style pendant lights creates a focal point and creates an intimate feel. The LED ottomans brighten up the space without taking away from the product.

The fit-out has proved to be a huge success with minimal overhead fit-out costs to the client through the approach of minimalist design and re-use of second-hand products.
